Usborne Books National Convention has been so enriching for me personally and for my business. Yesterday we heard from Belinda Ellsworth who talked to us about setting goals:
"There is never a failure in setting a goal!"
We often get scared of setting goals because we don't want to fail. But setting a goal doesn't make us fail! It keeps us from finding success!
She used the example of using GPS to get somewhere. Have you ever made a wrong turn while making GPS? What happens when you do? It says, "REDIRECTING." It doesn't say, "YOU'RE A LOSER! Go home!!" Sometimes we'll take wrong turns while we work towards our goal, but we just redirect/adjust and keep working.
It's just what I needed to hear! I need to be proud of my progress even when I have to re-adjust my path. Does this resonate with you too? What goals do you have in family life, physical or mental health, or financial goals?
