Throwback to 2009 when I got to meet Jim Trelease! From his book, The Read-Aloud Handbook, "The single most important activity for building the knowledge required for eventual success in reading is reading aloud to children."

He really is one of my idols! I loved listening to his passion for literacy when he spoke and hope that I can help inspire others too!
